For many years it was the perception that videogame were mostly designed by, and for the enjoyment of, men. Specifically, what you would call nerds or geeks. However, this is no longer the case and games are now made by a wide array of people, and enjoyed by an even wider array of videogame fans.
In this video, four of the Sumo Digital Academy student cohort discuss how the industry has changed since those early years and how modern games design tackles everything from political statements on screen to a more diverse representation in the creative teams.
