CRESST is an organisation dedicated to to conflict resolution in schools and youth groups in Sheffield and beyond, having worked with over 60 educational establishments since it was launched in 2002.
In this video, Josiah Lenton, Phd student at the University of Sheffield, speaks with Rob Unwin, Programme Director for CRESST, about their work in conflict resolution and the role that technologies such as videogames can bring to helping children manage confrontations.
Alongside his role as Programme Director for CRESST, Rob Unwin is also former teacher and National Leader for the Global Learning Programme and Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning Programme. He holds an MA in Development Education (UCL) works as an Adviser and international trainer for Development Education Centre South Yorkshire and was the first director of REMEDI UK, a national charity delivering restorative justice through the criminal justice system.
