Sophie Deen is a children’s author and leader in the field of coding and STEM for young people. She is the founder and CEO of Bright Little Labs, a children’s media company that develops books, games, animations and toys that focus on 21st century digital skills.

Bright Little Labs has users in 80+ countries and raised Series A investment with WarnerMedia in 2018. Before starting Bright Little Labs Sophie worked alongside Code Club, Google and the Department for Education to introduce the computing curriculum into primary schools in England. As a former lawyer, techie and children’s play therapist, she is passionate about creative education and positive role models for kids.
Sophie’s work encompasses a focus on STEM subjects, critical thinking, inclusive representation and sustainability, as well as secret spy organisations and farting selfie sticks.
