Even though Alexander is not up and about playing on his feet, he is playing in Minecraft (a sandbox game we will be talking about again later) in ways that are similar to traditional play and this is clearly an experience rich with learning.
This experience of play and learning is something we would suggest is worth spending time analysing, in order to understand it better and this is what this exercise is all about.
As you watch this video consider what types of digital play Alexander is engaging in. We want you to imagine yourself in the role of a researcher who has collected this data and is now going to analyse it.
