In this video, we hear from Greg Lobanov, who is an American indie game designer, about what creative pursuits he considers to be most important when it comes to designing and building videogames.
Indie game designers are typically people who create games on their own or in very small teams, without any major support from games companies. They frequently distribute their games online via publishing partners and are released on online games shops such as Steam or Itch.IO.
Greg also discusses how he built creative missions and ambitions into his game Chicory: A Colorful Tale to encourage further artistic behaviour in players.
