We are working to raise £2 million to establish a ground-breaking MRI-PET facility. MRI-PET is the most advanced imaging technology to date, and will transform our understanding and treatment of serious conditions like cancer, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), dementia, heart and lung diseases, Parkinson's and stroke.
We spoke to Andrew, a patient who is living with Parkinson’s disease, about his experiences, and to Professor Oliver Bandmann, about how the Sheffield Scanner will help us to continue our research into the causes and treatments for Parkinson’s disease.
