We are working to raise £2 million to establish a ground-breaking MRI-PET facility. MRI-PET is the most advanced imaging technology to date, and will transform our understanding and treatment of serious conditions like cancer, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), dementia, heart and lung diseases, Parkinson's and stroke.
We spoke to Brian, who survived lung cancer thanks to radiotherapy, and Dr Matthew Hatton, about how the Sheffield Scanner will help us to treat more patients using radiotherapy, and improve the treatment we already deliver.
