There are times in everyone’s life when things get harder than usual. It could be argued that for children it is at these times that their right to play is even more important. In this video we look at where this is the case - in a medical context. Kevin Hartshorn and Danielle Palmer from Sheffield Children’s Hospital talk about their work as play specialists.
Kevin also worked with Professor Elizabeth Wood and Dr Dylan Yamada-Rice on a project to develop a game for hospitalised children called ‘Hospital Heights’ and, in the second part of this video, Elizabeth and Dylan discuss the development and outcomes of the project.
