For the first Digital Commons Seminar, we were delighted to be joined by a provocative and inspiring speaker, Bob Harrison. Bob has had extensive experience in schools and colleges as a teacher, senior manager, principal and governor - he has worked with head teachers developing leadership training and is a member of the Ministerial Educational Technology Action Group, which advises both the DfE and BIS.
Our first guest speaker led a discussion that considered the experiences of secondary school children in terms of their use of digital technology for learning and how that might affect their expectations of higher education. Our 2022 intake is now starting Year 7, what will they make of the learning experience being offered them by Universities?
