Alejandro Lorente Pons, Neuroscience. Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a neurodegenerative disease that causes great physical disability in patients. The reasons why this disease develops are mostly unknown but some patients show mutations in certain genes which are now thought to be the cause of this disease. Alejandro talks about his research about what these mutations are and their role in both evolution and diseases.
