With our new understanding of the different models associated with disability, we’ll now meet Helen Woolley and Dr. Pippa Murray. Working as academics and practitioners they highlight some of the key messages around play and disability – that truly inclusive play is not just an issue for those labelled by disability, but a broader social issue that should be of concern to us all.
Pippa founded the family-led social enterprise IBK Initiatives in Sheffield, which aims to transform education and support so that disabled children, young people and their families are included in their communities and enabled to live meaningful and productive lives.
