Emma Blakey, Psychology. Human behaviour is renowned for its flexibility – a skill adults use to adjust their behaviour in a new situation or when doing something for the first time. Although young children often struggle to behave flexibly, we see big improvements in this behaviour between the ages of 3 and 4. Emma talks about how her research shows that when younger children get it all wrong, this can actually be a big improvement!
