The Development, Alumni Relations and Events (DARE) team at the University of Sheffield help alumni and friends of the University to stay a part of their University in a variety of ways.

We fundraise to support students as well as clubs and societies at the University, and thanks to your generosity we are able to provide scholarships to prospective students and help student groups to expand and enhance the student experience. Your donations also support our research, helping us to remain at the forefront of a range of vital areas from medicine to climate and environmental sustainability.

We provide opportunities for alumni to volunteer and share their experiences with students, as well as to benefit the University as a whole.

We keep you connected by sharing news and developments from the University, as well as giving you the chance to revisit your University at our reunions on campus. And we’re also responsible for organising graduation, a celebration of the culmination of all your years of study.
