Emily will be talking about ‘Making space for everyone in STEM careers’, looking at how she secured a role in the European Space Agency, her research, moving all over the world, and what it takes to be a scientist. She’ll provide some tips on how to get into the field, and why it doesn't matter who you are, that there is space for you to pursue a STEM career irrelevant of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other factor.
