This short video is primarily intended for level 1 Biomedical students and aims to aid the learning and comprehension of the different receptor types in cells, and to explain some of their main transduction mechanisms in simple terms. This topic stems from the difficulty of understanding the different complex mechanisms when introduced in year 1. The video may also be useful for anyone else looking to find out more about Receptor types or as a revision guide.In this case, we hope this presentation gives a more insightful overview of the topic and to help understand the concepts better.
