Join the 2nd year General Engineering students at the culmination of their Interdisciplinary Design Project. Over the past semester they have been designing, prototyping, building and programming biomimetic inspired robotic swimming sensors.
The swimming sensors have to navigate through a flume full of debris, and then demonstrate that they can detect a pollution source.
General Engineering is delivered by Interdisciplinary Engineering, an Academic Teaching Unit within the Faculty of Engineering that also manages Aerospace Engineering, Bioengineering and the Science and Engineering Foundation Year.
