Dr Fay Hield is a Lecturer in Ethnomusicology and Music Management at the University of Sheffield. She’s also an award winning, critically acclaimed folksinger who performs with her band The Hurricane Party and as part of The Full English. Here she talks about her love of folk music, what inspires her teaching and the changes in the music industry.
