Abstract:
During his talk Dr. Richmond will draw upon research from the COVID-19 response in both Canada and the UK, to explore how health systems organised their prolonged response to the Global Pandemic, and what lessons can be learned to help prepare our health systems for the increasing number of weather-related disasters brought about by a changing climate. Avenues for future research as well as practical implications will be discussed and questions from the audience answered.
