We are working to raise £2 million to establish a ground-breaking MRI-PET facility. MRI-PET is the most advanced imaging technology to date, and will transform our understanding of serious conditions like Motor Neurone Disease (MND), cancer, dementia, heart and lung diseases, Parkinson's and stroke. We spoke to Gemma Middleton, who is living with MND, and Professor Chris McDermott, about what the Sheffield Scanner will mean for the fight against MND.
