Short Answer and Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exams are often used to test knowledge and understanding in topics requiring a substantial knowledge base. Getting the most out of yourself in a short answer or MCQ exam is often not just about knowing the most, but about being organised and able to apply your knowledge under exam pressure.
This workshop will look at the short answer or MCQ exam as a process or timeline and identify the key stages that will give you the best chance of getting the marks that you deserve. It will look at ways to plan your time in the exam, how to analyse the question and how to answer the exam paper strategically. It will conclude by looking at the role that time pressure and stress plays in an exam situation to share and identify ways to overcome the challenges.
