Researchers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield are leading a consortium which is aiming to commercialise the use of new thermal energy storage technologies.
The Advanced Distributed Storage for Grid Benefit (ADSorB) Project aims to disrupt the way we heat our homes by deploying and demonstrating a series of innovative, smart, and interoperable thermal energy stores.
