This documentary summarises a research project set up to build capacity in understanding and evaluating the social impacts of music making in deprived areas of Cali, Colombia. The project was funded by a network grant from the Academy of Medical Sciences awarded to musicologist Professor Nicola Dibben (University of Sheffield) and psychologist Dr Julian Cespedes (Icesi University, Colombia).
