In this session Ali Day (Students Union Education Officer), Matt Cornock (e-learning advisor from York University) and Dr Louise Robson (Department of Biomedical Sciences) shared their experiences of lecture capture and answered questions and concerns. York University has operated lecture capture for some years and BMS have operated an opt-in system for a number of years for their students. The discussion focused on the pedagogical aspects of lecture capture and examined evidence collected both locally and from elsewhere on both the positive impact of lecture capture and the issues it raises.
