Constructing a plaster model of the dentition - part 1

Before the construction of a dental prosthesis (in this case a crown for a damaged tooth) can begin, a model of the dentition must be made. This video shows the process of using silicone materials (supported in a tray) to record the shape of the teeth. For clarity the process is shown on the workbench.
