Case Study: Rhian Davies on using video in literature study

Dr Rhian Davies, of the Department of Hispanic Studies, speaks at the 2015 Winter TELFest on the use of video in her innovative Adaptations & Transformation module. In this, students are asked to explore Spanish literature by creating a short video adaptation. In this talk, Rhian celebrates the students’ creativity in their film-making, and gives some details of how this project came to be, and how it has been a successful way of teaching and assessing literature study.
