Dr. Viktor Fedun from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering present this online lecture providing a taster of our 1st year course. Dr Fedun explains how system engineering uses mathematical principles such as Laplace transforms, Taylor series and iterative methods to solve problems related to systems and control engineering. These problems relate to many current engineering devices and products such as in driverless cars, flight control systems and robots.
