Asylum seekers, refugees, and education in the UK

This film is part of an Engaged Curriculum project in the School of Education, where international Masters students were partnered with members of local communities that have global links.

Bin Fang and Sofiana Millati created a film with asylum seekers in Sheffield who had different experiences of the UK education system. They talked with individuals, and sat in on a voluntary Conversation Club, where speakers of different languages come together to develop their English, and swap experiences of being a migrant in Sheffield.
