Over the summer we were delighted to meet Andy Haldane, an economics graduate (BA Accounting & Financial Management and Economics 1988) who is responsible for setting interest rates and outreach in schools for the Bank of England. Andy was back in Sheffield to receive an honorary degree from the University and told us what it meant for him to be recognised like this, and how it felt to be back in Sheffield.
