A future together is possible: will you make a vow?

Svongwa Nemadire tells a story of life in the township and a lecture abroad, which stirred him towards social justice research. He returned to Africa to stay in the village. There, he witnessed the gory repercussions of global problems such as inequality and climate change for villagers, whose stories are often made invisible in the larger scheme of things. The story warns that, without a change of heart of the powerful who consume earth’s resources, everyone’s future is uncertain.
