Disseminating student research
Videos from the "Disseminating Student Research" unit in the School of Education. The premise for this unit stems from the belief that the work our students do as part of their degree may potentially be of interest to the wider community. As such, it seeks to encourage students to explore opportunities to share their work - specifically their research - with a wider audience. The reasons why students may benefit from this are varied, and depend on personal contexts, as well as whether students are undergraduate, postgraduate, full-time or part-time learners, and home or international students. As such, reasons may include (but are not limited to):
- highlighting their work to enhance their employability,
- establish themselves within their own professional context,
- contribute to the body of work available in their context,
- connect with other, like-minded people,
- prepare for higher-level study.
